Position would suit an enthusiastic, career focused site foreman who wants to learn and progress into a Site Manager position
Learn systems and processes of an established commercial building contractor
Carpentry Background with minimum 2-5 years+ supervisory experience as a site foreman
Growing contractor in QLD with an excellent reputation with a huge pipeline of work in the region.
$140,000 - $170,000 + Super l Immediate start on offer
An excellent, highly regarded national refurbishment and build contractor has an immediate need to hire a Site Foreman on a permanent basis to join their growing team in QLD. Joining this business who currently employ approx. 100 staff nationally, you will work on projects typically build or refurbs of shopping centres, retail outlets, fast-food restaurants, industrial warehouses and supermarkets valued between $5M - $50M which will be located throughout Greater Brisbane and Regional QLD.
Initial project
– mixed retirement living & hospitality project in Beenleigh.



This is currently at finishes stages with 4 months left to run. Following this you will move to another project in Greater Brisbane in the industrial and commercial build space.
In this role, reporting into the Site Manager you will play a key role in the delivery of these challenging projects. Duties will include:
Management of all on-site trades and sub-contractors
Coordination of all internal and services trades.
Reading construction plans and drawings
Ensuring site safety through HSE management
Liaising with various stakeholders including the building managers and clients.
Reporting to the Site and Project Manager through email correspondence and telephone, providing progress updates
Help and understand with the project program ensuring you hit key daily and weekly milestones
Suitable candidates will possess the following;
Must come from carpentry background and qualified to Cert IV as a minimum
2-5 years+ as Site Foreman / Supervisor for a commercial building or fit-out contractor is ideal.
Well qualified with various construction tickets
Enthusiastic, committed and eager to build a career with an excellent employer.
Will be willing to travel and work nights when called upon.
Experience with Procore beneficial
