More about the role:
We're looking for a Revenue and Accounts Receivable Officer who will be responsible for managing revenue accounting, accounts receivable and supporting financial reporting processes for the Foundation. The role is a 24-month maximum-term contract.
Main responsibilities include:
Managing the integrity of revenue accounting and accounts receivable, including the reconciliation of revenue between the Foundation's supporter relationship management and financial and accounting systems
Reviewing and streamlining revenue and accounts receivable processes, contributing to system and data-quality improvements, and participating in finance projects as required
Working closely with Marketing and Revenue and other stakeholders to resolve revenue, invoicing, donor and payment matters
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and processing appropriate journals for month-end
What you bring to the role:
You're solutions focused, with strong analytical and numerical skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies, recommend practical improvements and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines. You'll bring at least three years' relevant data experience, ideally within accounting, along with strong Excel, accounting systems and CRM skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
