Seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead their kitchen operations and drive the culinary vision of the business. This is a permanent role offering AUD$100,000 to AUD$110,000 annually, perfect for a Sous Chef ready to step up into a leadership position. You'll have the chance to shape menus with creativity, build systems that deliver consistent results, and develop a kitchen team that thrives on accountability and growth.

Preferred Requirements

n

n
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a busy hospitality environment
n
Robust understanding of back-of-house financials and cost control
n




Demonstrated ability to plan and execute large-scale events for multiple covers
n
Leadership experience with a track record of recruiting, mentoring, and developing kitchen staff
n
Meticulous attention to detail across food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations
n

n

Preferred Qualifications

Formal culinary qualification or equivalent hands-on experience in professional kitchens
n
Food Safety Supervisor certification or equivalent food hygiene qualification
n
Experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume or event-driven hospitality settings
