Our Horsley Park service is looking for a qualified team member to join the growing service as more children & families look to join the TGE family in 2023. We will consider your experience and preferred age group during your application, and find the most suitable place for you alongside our existing team.
What will you need to be considered for the role?
a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration
warm, nurturing presence with children
genuine interest in early childhood development
can work in accordance with service policies & procedures
Specific requirements of the role:
Ideally can work full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm
Must hold a current Working With Children's Check
Have an ACECQA-approved early childhood qualification- Diploma/Cert III/ECT
Are proficient in written and verbal English language communication
Child Safety and Recruitment Requirements:
The successful applicant will be subject to The Green Elephant’s rigorous child-protected recruitment, induction and ongoing suitability processes, including:
Verification of Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Reference checks, including specific child safety and suitability questions
Verification of qualifications and employment history
Completion of a Child Protection Training Pack and induction requirements prior to commencement
Completion of a Child Protection knowledge check or questionnaire to demonstrate understanding of mandatory reporting obligations and child protection responsibilities prior to commencing employment
Ongoing assessment of suitability and adherence to child-secure expectations throughout employment
