About Cars24

Cars24 is a global AutoTech business changing how people buy and sell used cars. In Australia we run a fully digital car buying and selling experience, backed by our own inspection, reconditioning and logistics teams in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The role

We're building a dedicated buying channel on Carsales and we need an experienced buyer to own it. You'll find the right cars, negotiate with private sellers and dealers, and bring stock into our network at the right price. You'll work closely with our procurement leads and get the data, tools and support to buy with confidence.

What you'll do

- Source and buy used vehicles through Carsales, from both private sellers and dealers

- Assess listings quickly and price accurately using Cars24 pricing and market data

- Negotiate purchase prices that protect margin

- Coordinate inspections, paperwork and pick-ups with our operations team





- Hit weekly and monthly buying targets on volume and margin

- Keep across market trends, demand and resale values

What you'll bring

- Proven experience buying used cars, ideally through Carsales

- Robust knowledge of vehicle pricing, valuations and resale demand

- Confident negotiation skills and a commercial mindset

- Good attention to detail across end-to-end transactions

- Full Australian driver's licence

- Full Australian working rights

- Willingness to complete a police and background check
