Permanent full-time Clinical Midwife Consultant opportunity with Midwifery Group Practice at Logan Hospital, Meadowbrook, providing advanced clinical leadership across woman-centred, continuity-of-care maternity services.

Your new role
As a Clinical Midwife Consultant – Midwifery Group Practice, You'll Provide Advanced Clinical Leadership, Expert Consultancy And Woman-centred Care While Helping Shape Contemporary Models Of Midwifery Practice Across The Logan Maternity Service. You'll
- Provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership across Midwifery Group Practice and Maternity Outpatient services.
- Support continuity of midwifery care and promote women's informed choices, autonomy and individual care needs.
- Lead and contribute to contemporary, evidence-based models of care, quality improvement and clinical redesign.
- Partner with women, families, cultural kinship structures, community services and multidisciplinary teams to support safe, inclusive care.
- Mentor, coach and develop midwives and contribute to education, research and workforce development.
- Champion culturally safe practice, equity, inclusion and care that recognises the diverse communities of Logan.
- Contribute to clinical governance, risk management, service development and continuous improvement.
About You You're an experienced midwife and clinical leader who brings advanced practice expertise, a collaborative approach and a passion for continuity of care. You'll bring:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Midwife and a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking and experience in Midwifery Group Practice.
- Strong leadership, communication,
consultation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting evidence-based practice, quality improvement, education and clinical governance.
- The ability to mentor and empower others while supporting midwives to work to their full scope of practice.
- A commitment to reflective practice, lifelong learning and translating research into contemporary care.

Logan Hospital Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland.
