Bring your specialist knowledge, clinical leadership and passion for patient-centred care to our Stomal Therapy/Wound Management team, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference for patients with complex care needs.
About This Role
Your new role
Join our specialised Stomal Therapy/Wound Management (STN/WM) service and provide expert, patient-centred care to patients with complex stoma and wound management needs.
- Provide advanced clinical assessment, planning, coordination and management for patients requiring specialist stomal therapy, pressure injury prevention and management, and complex wound care, including negative pressure wound therapy, fistula management and venous leg ulcer care.
- Work autonomously as a clinical leader, using advanced clinical judgement, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver evidence-based, high-quality care and support the broader multidisciplinary team.
- Provide clinical leadership, education, mentoring and support to nursing staff and students, while contributing to quality improvement, clinical audits, research and the ongoing development of service practices.
About You We are looking for an experienced and confident Registered Nurse who can bring specialist knowledge, clinical leadership and a high degree of autonomy to our STN/WM service.
- You are a Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- You have demonstrated clinical expertise in stomal therapy, wound management and/or pressure injury management,
with the ability to manage complex clinical situations and provide expert advice to patients and the healthcare team.
- You demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills, and are confident working autonomously while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

About Us Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital: The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII)
is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine. We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
