About This Role
Your new role
As a Senior Forensic Liaison Officer, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical services within the Continuing Care Team at NORTH Woolloongabba Community Health Campus, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment to support safe, person-centred care.
- Provide assessment, intervention and evaluation for consumers with complex forensic mental health needs, including those subject to Forensic and/or Forensic Disability Orders, Treatment Support Orders and high-acuity Treatment Authority frameworks.
- Act as a clinical reference point for the NORTH Continuing Care Team, providing expert clinical advice, contributing to complex clinical decision-making, and supporting effective care planning, handover and discharge processes.
- Contribute to the development of clinical practice through evidence-based service improvement, quality initiatives, research, policy and protocol development, and clinical education.
About You We are looking for an experienced and collaborative clinician who can apply sound clinical judgement and specialist forensic mental health knowledge to support consumers with complex needs and contribute to high-quality service delivery.
- Demonstrated clinical experience and knowledge in Forensic Mental Health,
with the ability to work with increasing independence and apply evidence-based practice to complex clinical presentations.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with consumers, carers, multidisciplinary colleagues and external agencies.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage a complex workload while maintaining safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
