About the role

Home Inn Group Raymond Terrace is seeking a Hotel Receptionist/Housekeeper to join our team at our Raymond Terrace, NSW location. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be the first point of contact for our guests. As a Hotel Receptionist/Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guests have a memorable experience from the moment they arrive.

This role is essential to maintaining the professional image and operational efficiency of our hotel.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting guests upon arrival and processing check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously

- Managing room reservations, cancellations and modifications using our property management system

- Responding to guest enquiries and requests in a professional and helpful manner

- Handling guest complaints and concerns with patience and resolve, escalating issues where necessary

- Maintaining accurate guest records and confidential information

- Providing information about hotel facilities, local attractions and dining options

- Answering telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriately

- Processing payments and managing cash and card transactions securely

- Assisting with administrative tasks including filing, scheduling and documentation

- Collaborating with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction

- Room cleaning and assisting in onsite laundry

- Availability weekdays and weekends a must

About you

- Previous experience working in a hotel reception, housekeeping,



front office or customer service environment (or similar hospitality setting)

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Proficiency with hotel management software and computer systems (training provided if necessary)

- A welcoming and professional demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

- Ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with challenging situations

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

- Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and payment processing
