Role Overview
Reo Group is partnering with a well-regarded Sydney law practice to recruit a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal for their NSW workers compensation team.
You will manage a portfolio of matters, progressing files from initial instruction through to resolution whilst working closely with experienced solicitors.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of NSW workers compensation matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
Draft correspondence, expert instructions, PIC applications, submissions, statements, and supporting documentation.
Review medical records, clinical notes, liability material, and expert reports.
Progress statutory benefit disputes and permanent impairment claims.
Liaise with clients, treating practitioners, medico-legal experts, and relevant third parties in a professional and considered manner.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients,



providing clear and timely updates throughout the life of each matter.
Progress files in line with systems, timeframes, and quality standards under solicitor supervision.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in personal injury law with solid NSW workers compensation exposure.
Demonstrated experience managing workers compensation matters and PIC proceedings.
Sound working knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation and the claims and dispute pathway.
Solid drafting skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, prioritise competing deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
Client-focused and empathetic, with a professional and considered approach to client communication.
Proficiency with legal practice management systems and Microsoft Office.
