About Greenbushes Roadhouse

Greenbushes Roadhouse is located in Greenbushes, in Western Australia’s Southwest region, approximately 250 km south of Perth.

Our Roadhouse provides fuel, retail, commercial cafe and convenience services to the local community, workers and travellers. We are committed to providing quality products, friendly customer service and a welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable candidates to join our team in two permanent full-time positions – Barista and Retail Supervisor.

1. Barista

Permanent Full-Time | $80,000–$85,000 per annum + Superannuation

We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our busy commercial café environment. The successful applicant will prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve espresso coffee and other hot beverages
- Prepare lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso-based beverages
- Select and grind coffee to ensure consistent quality
- Operate and maintain commercial espresso machines and coffee-making equipment
- Clean and maintain coffee preparation and service areas
- Take customer orders and process payments using POS systems
- Replenish beverage supplies, shelves and refrigerators
- Serve light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Provide prompt and professional customer service




- Promote relevant products and services

Skills & Experience required:

- Minimum AQF Certificate III in Hospitality or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Barista.
- Experience as a Barista in a commercial café or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong espresso preparation, coffee grinding and milk-texturing skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods

2. Retail Supervisor

Permanent Full-Time | $80,000–$85,000 per annum + Superannuation

We are seeking an experienced Retail Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales staff and support the efficient day-to-day operation of our busy retail and roadhouse business.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales staff
- Ensure customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints
- Plan and prepare staff work schedules
- Assign staff to specific duties
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, training and evaluating retail staff
- Guide staff in handling difficult or complicated sales procedures
- Examine returned goods and determine appropriate action
- Monitor inventory and order new stock as required
- Ensure goods and services are correctly priced and displayed
- Monitor stock availability and replenishment
- Maintain appropriate merchandise presentation
- Ensure workplace safety and security procedures are followed




- Monitor staff performance and support efficient day-to-day retail operations

Skills & Experience required:

- Minimum AQF Certificate III in Retail, Business Management or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant retail supervisory experience
- Strong staff supervision and customer service skills
- Experience with stock control, merchandising and POS operations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to coordinate staff and manage competing priorities
