You will use MIG welding equipment and air tools to assemble and finish pressed metal door frames.
Key responsibilities
Assembling and MIG welding metal door frame components
Using air tools to dress welds and prepare frames for finishing
Following job sheets, dimensions and manufacturing instructions
Checking frames for accuracy, squareness and finish
Maintaining a secure, clean and organised work area
About you
MIG welding experience preferred, although training will be provided to a suitable candidate
Positive attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions
Ability to work with minimal supervision once trained
Reliability, a willingness to learn and a cooperative approach
A commitment to safe use of welding equipment and tools
Previous experience in metal fabrication or door frame manufacturing would be an advantage
