Nautic Star is seeking an experienced Aluminium Welder to join our team. We are looking for a skilled tradesperson with excellent aluminium welding capabilities and basic fabrication skills to assist with the assembly and welding of our aluminium boats and trailers.
Key responsibilities
- Aluminium MIG/Aluminium & Stainless TIG welding of boat and trailer components
- Assembly and fabrication of aluminium structures
- Reading and working from drawings and measurements
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
About you
- Proven experience in aluminium welding
- Strong welding skills and attention to detail
- Basic fabrication and fitting skills
- Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manage time effectively
- Commitment to producing quality workmanship
- Boat-building experience is an advantage but not essential
Boat-building experience is an advantage but not essential. For the right applicant, Nautic Star will provide in-house training in aluminium boat manufacturing.
