Mechanical Fitters | FIFO Shutdown | Up to $70/hr Super

We're seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for an upcoming FIFO shutdown in Queensland, with opportunities available for experienced Leading Hands who remain hands-on. This is a excellent opportunity to join a well-established shutdown team working for a Tier 1 client, with the potential for ongoing work beyond the initial shutdown.

What's on offer

- $68-$70/hr flat rate super (experience dependent)
- FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns
- Flights, accommodation and meals provided
- Shutdown commencing 5 October
- Initial shutdown through 19 October
- Potential for ongoing work/extension

Scope of Work The shutdown involves:
- Removal and replacement of product screen elevators




- Removal and replacement of secondary elevator chains and buckets
- Working safely within shutdown procedures and site requirements

Requirements
- Australian Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
- White Card
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights
- Able to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Available for the full shutdown period
