We are seeking a motivated Senior Contracts Officer who will contribute to the delivery of effective, efficient and transparent end-to-end grants management to the early childhood sector to ensure that service delivery responds to the needs of families and their children aged from birth to 8 years.
About The Team The Applications and Contract Execution team in the Early Childhood, Regulation and Communication Division plays a pivotal role in shaping funding and service delivery outcomes that make a real difference. This team is at the centre of key grant and contract processes, including managing Kindergarten Program Provider applications and supporting the establishment of new funding arrangements, including the drafting and executing of new contracts. The team also leads negotiations on contract inclusions, provides expert advice on contract terms and works closely with contract management colleagues to manage renewals, variations, terminations and non-compliance matters.

Responsibilities Include
- Support the management of a suite of programs, including management of funding rounds and contracts, to ensure the strategic aims and objectives of the Government are achieved.
- Develop and maintain effective linkages with regional staff and other work areas to ensure policies and programs are consistent with departmental objectives and that programs and services are delivered effectively.
- Prepare and coordinate briefs, correspondence and reports consistent with departmental guidelines.
- Deliver high quality advice and services relating to contract negotiation, formation, management and administration activities.
- Advise and guide staff across the division on State and departmental contracting policies and practices, internal processes and templates used to deliver contracting services to clients.
About You You will have strong grants and contract management capabilities and experience, high level conceptual and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex grant and contract management issues, and high level written and verbal communication skills. Interested? To Apply:
