Junior Laboratory Assistant - Full-Time or Part-Time Job Share

Join our Quality team as a Junior Laboratory Assistant, working closely with our production team. You'll carry out routine analytical testing on raw materials and in-process samples, helping us maintain consistent product quality and meet compliance standards. This is a great chance for a science student or recent graduate to gain real-world laboratory experience.

Offered either on a Full Time basis, or Part Time job share (< 20 hours per week)

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Perform laboratory tests on raw materials and process samples, following established SOPs
n
- Accurately record, calculate and report test results and measurements
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe laboratory workspace
n
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling equipment, chemicals and samples
n
- Communicate any unusual test results or quality concerns to the Quality Manager
n
- Assist with general administrative tasks in the Quality department, such as filing test records and updating logs
n
n
About you
n
n
- Currently studying, or recently graduated from, a science-related degree
n
- Background in chemistry or microbiology
n
- Ability to follow set procedures accurately
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
n
- A reliable team player who's also comfortable working autonomously
n
