- Keep a life-saving fleet in the air, getting the right part to the right aircraft when every hour on the ground matters.
- A hands-on role with real variety, from receiving and certifying parts to chasing AOG spares and managing OEM warranty claims.
- Build your aviation supply chain career alongside engineers maintaining turboprops, jets and helicopters
- Full time, permanent role based at Jandakot with free onsite parking and not-for-profit salary packaging.
About the Team RFDS WA Engineering keeps a fleet of 17 Pilatus PC-12 (with the new PC-12 PRO now entering service), three PC-24 jets and two EC145 helicopters flying from Jandakot and regional maintenance sites in Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra and soon Geraldton. Logistics is where aircraft availability starts. Every part fitted has to be the right part, fully certified and traceable.
When an aircraft is grounded at a remote base, a patient is waiting. You'll join a small team led by our Aviation Logistics Manager, working closely with engineers, planners, Finance and Operations.
About the Role
- Receive, inspect and process aircraft parts, verifying release certification (CASA Form 1, EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3) and keeping inventory accurate, including shelf-life and quarantined items.
- Pick, pack and dispatch components to our bases, coordinate freight and respond quickly to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) requirements.
- Manage supplier and OEM relationships, warranty claims and purchase order reconciliation, tracking spend against budget to secure the best pricing and turnaround.
About You
- Experience in logistics, inventory control or stores within an aviation,
engineering or other technical environment.
- Meticulous record keeping, with confidence handling certification documents and technical data.
- Confident using inventory or ERP systems, with experience in WinAir or CAMP highly regarded.
- Experience working with suppliers and OEMs on pricing, warranties and service agreements, and reconciling purchase orders, invoices and freight.
- Calm and organised when priorities shift quickly, with a forklift licence or Dangerous Goods certification a bonus.
