What you'll do
As a Casual Relief Teacher, you'll step into different classrooms and provide a safe, positive and engaging learning setting.
Your responsibilities may include:
Delivering lessons and programs provided by the classroom teacher
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Supporting student learning,
wellbeing and daily routines
Adapting quickly to different year levels, subjects and school environments
Following school policies, procedures and duty-of-care requirements
Communicating professionally with school staff
What we're looking for
You must have:
Current VIT registration – mandatory
Primary or Secondary teaching experience
Strong classroom management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt quickly and confidently
Commitment to student safety and wellbeing
Two professional education references, including a recent school-based referee
