Allura Partners are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a PE backed Financial Services business on a search for a Senior Finance Manager, reporting into the Group Financial Controller. As the group scales, they need a technically sharp Senior Finance Manager to help hold the numbers together across a multi-entity structure.

The role
n
n
- Run month-end and year-end close across multiple entities, keeping reporting accurate and on time
n
- Prepare and review journals, accruals and prepayments in line with accounting standards
n
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items properly
n
- Prepare monthly cashflows with commentary for management review
n
- Support statutory financial statements and audit workpapers at group and entity level
n
- Lead technical accounting papers and keep group accounting policies current
n
- Manage intercompany journals, reconciliations and eliminations across the group
n
- Maintain strong financial controls across the general ledger, fixed assets, leases and provisions
n
- Identify and implement process improvements across financial reporting
n
- Coach and develop a team of group accountants
n

About you:
n
n
- CA or CPA qualified, degree in Accounting or Finance
n
- Ideally big 4 trained
n
- 8+ years in financial reporting, technical accounting and statutory compliance
n
- Strong grasp of AASB and IFRS
n
- Proven experience leading finance teams through complex, multi-entity structures
n
- ERP proficiency
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with real attention to detail
n
- Track record driving process improvement and reporting efficiency
n
- Comfortable managing relationships across subsidiary leadership and external advisers
n
n
