Servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment

Diagnosing and fault-finding air conditioning and refrigeration systems

Attending breakdowns and emergency service calls

n

Working on VRF / VRV systems

n

Servicing commercial ducted and split systems

n

Refrigeration service and repair work

n

Carrying out preventative maintenance

n

Commissioning current equipment

n

Identifying additional repair and maintenance requirements

n

Quoting smaller repairs and variations where appropriate

n

Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives

n

Completing job reports, service documentation and photos,

n

Working alongside and assisting apprentices and junior technicians

n

Participating in a rotating on-call roster.

About the role

n

You will be involved in:

n

- Servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment

Experience & Skills

n

We are looking for someone who is:

n

n




- A qualified HVAC Technician or 4th Year Apprentice nearing completion of their apprenticeship
n
- Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or currently completing the qualification
n
- Holds an ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence, or is eligible to obtain one upon qualification
n
- Strong in fault finding and problem solving
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Professional and well presented when dealing with clients
n
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
n
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
n
- Committed to quality workmanship and doing the job properly
n

n

Experienced technicians are encouraged to apply.

For the right person, we are also happy to support a 4th Year Apprentice transitioning into a fully qualified Service Technician role.
