A leading not-for-profit hospital group in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Scrub Scout Nurse to join their Day Surgery Centre, working short and long shifts on a fortnightly roster, 6am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. No nights and no weekends, a genuinely different offer to the rest of theatre. This is a permanent, full-time prospect for a nurse with at least 3 years' scrub/scout experience.

About the Role
Scrub and scout across a day surgery caseload
Work within a Day Surgery Centre team, run separately from the main theatre roster
Maintain sterile technique, instrumentation and case preparation for day surgery procedures
Work short and long shifts on a fortnightly roster, 6am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, with no nights or weekends

What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Scrub Scout/Perioperative Registered Nurse (not open to recent graduates)
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated scrub and scout competency across a day surgery caseload




Availability to work the Day Surgery Centre roster (6am to 8pm, Monday to Friday)
Current National Police Check, or ability to obtain and maintain one
Full Australian working rights required
