Growth Marketing Manager - Part Time Mat Leave Cover

Role Purpose
n
The Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for driving fanbase growth, digital performance, supporter engagement and revenue outcomes through data-led, targeted and measurable marketing activity. Sitting within the Marketing & Consumer Engagement team, this role partners closely with Commercial, Consumer and Data teams to deliver growth initiatives that acquire new fans, deepen supporter relationships and convert engagement into long-term value for the Club. This role brings specialist capability across CRM, paid media, digital analytics, lifecycle marketing and campaign optimisation, ensuring the Club's marketing activity is creative, on-brand, targeted and commercially effective.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
Growth Marketing & Campaign Delivery
n
n
Develop and deliver growth marketing campaigns supporting fan acquisition, database growth, membership, ticketing, retail, partnerships, events and broader Club initiatives
n
Plan, build and optimise multi-channel campaigns across paid, email, SMS, web, organic social and other relevant digital channels
n
Work with the Head of Marketing to align brand, creative and performance activity across key Club campaigns
n
Identify opportunities to move supporters from awareness to engagement, conversion, retention and advocacy
n
Act as a key owner of CRM and lifecycle marketing activity, supporting best practice usage,
optimisation and campaign delivery through Salesforce Marketing Cloud
n
Develop and optimise supporter journeys aligned to acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention and lifetime value objectives
n
Build segmented and personalised communications for prospects, members, ticket buyers, merchandise customers, event attendees and engaged fans
n
Maintain strong CRM hygiene, including data quality, consent management, deduplication and regular database audits to ensure supporter communications are accurate, compliant and effective
n

Paid Media & Digital Performance
n
n
Plan, manage and optimise paid digital campaigns across relevant channels, including paid social, search, display, video and retargeting
n
Support paid acquisition activity for database growth, membership leads, ticket sales, merchandise campaigns and major Club moments
n
Monitor campaign spend, performance and ROI, making recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes
n
Test audiences, creative, messaging, offers and channels to continuously improve campaign performance over time
n

Performance Optimisation & Analytics
n
n
Analyse campaign performance and translate insights into practical optimisation strategies
n
Continuously test and refine campaign effectiveness through structured experimentation
n
Produce regular reporting and dashboards to inform decision-making across Marketing, Consumer and Commercial teams
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
Growth marketing experience across CRM, lifecycle and performance marketing (ideally in sport, entertainment or a consumer environment)
n
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent
n
Experience planning and optimising paid digital campaigns across channels such as Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, search, display or retargeting
n
Experience developing data capture and lead generation strategies, including landing pages, forms, competitions, waitlists, event registrations, referral activity and preference centres that grow the Club's known supporter base
n
Strong campaign measurement and attribution capability, including UTM frameworks, tracking links, pixels, conversion events, GA4, GTM, and reporting dashboards
n
Commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to fan growth, revenue, conversion and lifetime value
n
Organised, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast paced environment
n
Values-led, fan-first and motivated by the prospect to help build a Club from the ground up
