About the role

DirectBor is a Geelong-based civil and directional drilling contractor building underground electrical infrastructure across Greater Geelong and Western Melbourne. We are looking for labourers and pipelayers to join crews that are busy year round.

Key responsibilities

- Installing conduit, pits and underground electrical infrastructure

- Pipelaying, bedding and backfill to specification

- Operating hand tools, power tools and small plant

- Supporting excavator and drill operators, including spotting near live services

- Keeping the site clean, safe and compliant with SWMS and environmental controls

About you

- Construction Induction Card (White Card)

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Experience as a labourer or pipelayer in civil construction, or a genuine willingness to learn

- Ability to work safely around live electrical services and heavy plant

- Reliability and ability to start early

- Repeated lifting and carrying up to 20kg





- Extended periods standing and walking on uneven ground

- Working in trenches and confined spaces

- Working outdoors in all weather

- $35 to $45 per hour depending on experience, paid fortnightly
