Ledger Logic Bookkeeping is a growing bookkeeping business based in Ballarat, helping businesses use accurate financial information to make smarter business decisions—not just stay compliant.

We're looking for an experienced Registered BAS Agent who is seeking flexibility today while wanting to be part of something bigger tomorrow.

This role commences at approximately 8 hours per week, with a clear pathway to increased hours over the next 12–24 months as our client base continues to grow.

The start date is flexible and negotiable for the right candidate. We're focused on finding the right person!

About the Role

You'll manage clients while delivering high-quality bookkeeping and compliance services, including:

- End-to-end bookkeeping

- BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement

- Payroll processing and compliance

- Bank reconciliations

- Month-end reporting

- Software implementation and optimisation

- Working directly with clients to deliver exceptional service

- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes

What We're Looking For

Essential

- Current Registered BAS Agent registration

- Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience

- Strong knowledge of Xero (experience with MYOB, QuickBooks or other cloud accounting software is highly regarded)

- Excellent understanding of GST, payroll and Australian bookkeeping compliance

- Solid attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Location

While this is primarily a work-from-home position, applicants based in or near Ballarat are preferred, as occasional client and team meetings will be required.

Modern professional meeting rooms are available whenever face-to-face collaboration is needed.
