Service Desk Analyst / End User Computing Engineer

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Desk Analyst / End User Computing Engineer to join a Federal Government client in Canberra. This is an opportunity for a skilled IT professional with strong experience across Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management and mobile device management to support a secure and modern enterprise environment.

About the Role

You will provide technical support and administration across end-user computing environments, with a particular focus on Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Android mobile devices and endpoint security.
You will work closely with technical teams to manage, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise endpoint and identity services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure and manage Android mobile devices using Microsoft Intune and MDM capabilities.
- Administer and support Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, authentication policies, identity governance, group management and device registration.
- Manage Azure services supporting Microsoft Intune and Entra ID, including secure connectivity and endpoint internet access solutions.
- Configure and manage application protection policies, device compliance policies, configuration profiles and security baselines within Intune.
- Manage endpoint security controls and device management policies.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving Intune, Entra ID, endpoint security and mobile devices.
- Provide support across Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Maintain technical documentation, configuration records and operational procedures.
- Support the delivery and ongoing management of secure enterprise endpoint services.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar End User Computing, Endpoint Management or Service Desk environment.




- Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune, including:
- Device enrolment
- Device compliance
- Application deployment
- Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Endpoint security
- Policy management

- Robust experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including:

- Conditional Access
- Identity Protection
- Authentication methods
- Device identity
- RBAC
- Application integration

- Demonstrated experience managing and supporting Android mobile devices.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications.
