TS Global is seeking an experienced and practical Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator to support our Mackay operations.

This is not a desk-only coordination role. You will be actively involved in planning work, supporting field personnel, providing technical guidance and ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will also work directly with clients to identify maintenance requirements, solve operational problems and develop opportunities for TS Global’s products and services.

Our team of engineers, manufacturers and maintenance technicians works closely with clients across the mining and materials-handling industries to design, manufacture, install and maintain practical solutions that improve conveyor performance.

The Opportunity

As the Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, you will help coordinate labour, equipment, materials and site requirements across mechanical maintenance activities.

You will provide leadership and hands-on support to the team, maintain solid relationships with clients and ensure each job is properly planned, resourced and delivered.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating daily labour requirements, job priorities and site activities





- Ensuring personnel are appropriately skilled, inducted, assessed and prepared for each job

- Planning and coordinating parts, equipment, vehicles and other resources

- Providing supervision, technical guidance and hands-on assistance when required

- Supporting the installation, maintenance, inspection and adjustment of belt cleaning systems and other mechanical equipment

- Monitoring job progress, quality, safety and operational performance

- Leading toolbox talks, pre-starts and other required safety activities

- Ensuring company and client safety procedures are understood and followed

- Maintaining clear communication with employees, clients and internal stakeholders

- Identifying maintenance improvements and missed opportunities at client sites

- Assisting with quotes and recommendations for TS Global products and services

- Developing strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients

- Providing regular updates on work activities, resource requirements and emerging issues

About You

You will be a confident coordinator and team leader who understands mechanical maintenance in a mining, industrial or materials-handling environment.

You will bring:

- Proven experience in a similar maintenance coordination,



supervision or leadership role

- Sound knowledge of conveyor systems, belt cleaning systems and mechanical equipment

- Experience working within mining, heavy industry or materials handling

- Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills

- A practical understanding of site safety requirements and safe work processes

- The ability to coordinate employees, equipment and materials across multiple work activities

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- The confidence to work directly with clients and represent the business professionally

- A proactive approach to identifying problems, improvements and commercial opportunities

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- A current driver’s licence

A relevant mechanical trade qualification, previous sales or business development experience, and mine-site supervisory qualifications will be highly regarded.
