We are looking for a positive, hands-on Team Leader in our Kitting Team to lead the daily kitting operation in our Warehouse Distribution Centre. Reporting directly to the Warehouse General Manager, this role is ideal for a confident, visible leader who can motivate the team, set clear expectations, and deliver accurate, customer-ready kits for mining and industrial orders.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team by providing day-to-day direction, performance management, coaching, mentoring, and employee development to drive operational outcomes.
- Lead daily kitting, packing, staging, manifesting, and despatch preparation.
- Support and coach team members to deliver safe, accurate, and productive outcomes.
- Prioritise mining and industrial orders to meet customer and transport requirements.
- Ensure kits are assembled, verified, labelled, and staged correctly.
- Maintain strong controls over quality checks, documentation, and consignment readiness.
- Resolve day-to-day issues such as missing parts, damaged goods, urgent orders, and staging constraints.
- Work closely with Receiving, Picking, Inventory, Despatch, Administration, HR, and Safety teams.
- Maintain WHS, Chain of Responsibility, Dangerous Goods, and site compliance standards.




- Identify practical improvements that lift safety, accuracy, workflow, and service.

The challenge:

This is a fast-moving leadership role where customer priorities can shift quickly based on promise dates, escalations, urgent requests, and backorder releases. The successful applicant will need to coordinate a large team across multiple customer packing areas, maintain tight workflow control, and uphold the highest level of quality across every kitting process. With service kits often travelling thousands of kilometres to mining customers, accuracy is critical and there is little room for error.
