CGC Recruitment are partnering with a well-established construction company based in Sydney’s Inner West who have been operating for over 20 years. They specialise in Residential New Builds, Commercial Fit Outs and Industrial Refurbishments

This is an excellent chance for a Leading Hand looking to take the next step into a Junior Site Supervisor role, or someone who has already had some experience running smaller projects and is looking to develop their career further.

You’ll work closely with an experienced Site Manager gaining exposure to the full process of running a project. The role will give you the opportunity to develop your skills across site management, subcontractor coordination, quality control, programming and client requirements, with the long-term opportunity to run your own projects.

The Role

- Assist with the day-to-day management of high-end residential and commercial projects
- Work closely with experienced Senior Site Teams
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers
- Assist with project programming and sequencing
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Assist with site safety and daily site operations
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications




- Help manage project deadlines and ensure works remain on programme
- Gradually take ownership of areas of the project before progressing into running your own sites

About You

- Leading Hand Carpenter ready to take the next step
- Strong carpentry background
- Experience across high-end residential, commercial or fit-out projects
- Good understanding of construction methodology and site processes
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to coordinate trades and keep a project moving
- High attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Looking for a long-term career progression rather than just your next job
