As a Disability Support Worker, you will support people with disability to build independence, develop life skills, achieve personal goals and actively participate in their community.

About The Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will work alongside participants to support their independence, wellbeing and quality of life. No two days are the same. You will assist people to achieve their goals, develop life skills, participate in their communities and enjoy meaningful experiences that are important to them.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Providing person-centred support with daily living activities.
- Supporting participants to access and engage with their local community.
- Assisting with personal care and medication support where required.
- Supporting participants to achieve their goals and develop independence.
- Implementing behaviour support and mealtime management plans.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes.
- Supporting participants to build relationships and social connections.
- Transporting participants to appointments, activities and community outings.
- Maintaining safe,



welcoming and well-presented homes and vehicles.

About You

You are passionate about supporting people with disability and committed to helping individuals achieve their goals. You are positive, adaptable and enjoy building genuine connections with people from diverse backgrounds.

You will bring:

- Experience supporting people with disability, mental health challenges or complex support needs.
- A strong commitment to person-centred practice and inclusion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- A proactive and versatile approach to supporting participants in a variety of environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in changing situations.

Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check (NSW and Vic preferred).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete)
