Help people learn and succeed

We're looking for a Training Specialist to join our Learning & Development team and support capability development across our Operations teams.

This is a hands-on facilitation role delivering onboarding, refresher training and capability development programs in our contact centre environment. You'll help new starters get up to speed, support ongoing learning and coaching, and play an significant role in helping employees build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to succeed.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you'll work closely with Operations leaders and subject matter experts to deliver engaging learning experiences that support employee performance and business outcomes.

About the role

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering onboarding, refresher and capability development programs across Operations teams.

- Facilitating engaging learning sessions in person and online.

- Using a range of training approaches, including demonstrations, scenarios and hands-on learning activities.

- Supporting Operations learning pathways and capability uplift initiatives.

- Delivering Corporate induction and refresher training as required.

- Conducting knowledge checks, competency assessments and learning evaluations.

- Reviewing customer interactions and work outputs to identify knowledge gaps and coaching opportunities.

- Providing clear, constructive feedback that supports capability, confidence and performance improvement.

- Supporting learning related to business processes, compliance requirements, systems, technology and operational change.

- Maintaining training records, learning registers and associated documentation.

- Monitoring learner participation and effectiveness and providing feedback to support continuous improvement.

- Maintaining a strong understanding of business rules, processes, systems and regulatory requirements, and identifying learning content that may require review or updating.

About you





You're a confident communicator who enjoys working with people and helping them succeed. You're comfortable standing in front of a group, facilitating discussions, reinforcing expectations and adapting your approach to keep people engaged and focused on learning.

You'll bring:

- Experience delivering training, coaching or capability development programs.

- Strong facilitation skills and practical knowledge of adult learning principles.

- The ability to hold a room, maintain engagement and create positive learning experiences.

- Confidence communicating clearly and explaining complex information in a simple and practical way.

- The ability to use a variety of training techniques to support different learning styles.

- Strong observation and coaching skills, with the ability to identify knowledge gaps and support performance improvement.

- Attention to detail and the ability to identify learning content that may be inaccurate, unclear or out of date.

- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with leaders, subject matter experts and employees at all levels.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Experience in financial services, contact centres or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
