We are working exclusively with a world-leading business whose products are used in high-end, large-scale events. Their technology is trusted on the world's biggest stages across broadcast, live events, pro-audio, sports, theatre, and security applications. And despite their global reach, they've retained a local, family feel to their operations in Sydney.

About the Role

This is a Sydney-based, senior technical role supporting APAC customers on complex IP networking issues within broadcast and live event technology, spanning TCP/UDP, VLANs, multicast and PTP. The role is genuinely hands-on: you will work directly on the trickier technical cases and act as a point of escalation, while mentoring and supporting other engineers across the APAC team.

Duties

- Provide hands-on technical support on complex customer cases involving IP networking, including TCP/UDP, VLANs,



multicast and PTP.
- Mentor and support engineers across the APAC team, sharing technical expertise and helping resolve escalated issues.
- Step in on sensitive customer relationship matters, such as billing disputes or SLA concerns, as they arise.
- Build familiarity with the team's case follow-up discipline and customer engagement processes through Salesforce.
- Travel periodically to regional offices and training events

Requirements

- Solid, hands-on foundation in IT/IP networking, including TCP/UDP, VLANs, multicast and PTP; Cisco knowledge highly regarded.
- Background in broadcast, pro-audio or media/OT technology.
- A Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer or Technical Lead background, with genuine mentoring experience valued; a formal "Manager" title is not required.
- Comfortable working within a team spread across different cultural contexts, particularly across the Asia-Pacific region, with openness to growing into people leadership over time.
- A hands-on, proactive approach.
- CRM experience, particularly Salesforce, is an advantage
- Full working rights in Australia
