Our client is a leading Australian fresh produce and logistics operator.

They require:

3 x Machine Operators / Packers

for their mushroom growing and processing facility in Perth's southern suburbs.

Please note: As these are ongoing positions, our client does not accept student or working holiday visa applicants. They also do not offer sponsorship so overseas applications will not be accepted.

Responsibilities:

Working in a chilled room (a constant 5-6°C) details of the role are:

- Basic machine operation (it is a slicing, labelling and conveyor machine)
- Change out labels, change our rollers, programme machine for different products (training provided)
- Repetitive manual handling
- Packing finished product
- Cold room environment (approximately 5-to-6°C)
- Fast paced workplace in a strong team environment
- Time critical process
- Fresh produce handling





Approx 25% of the role is machine operation and 75% packing and managing the conveyor line.

Pay Rate: $35.15 per hour
Transport: MUST have own transport and a valid licence as no public transport to site
Start Time: Between 7am and 9am
Roster: The Mushroom Farm operates 7 days per week, 365 days per year. The roster is a 4-week rotating roster. The successful applicant will work 4 days per week but could work any 4 days so availability is essential!!

Having some basic understanding of a fast-paced FMCG setting will be highly advantageous.
