We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a permanent 7/7 roster.

Your new company

Our client is a Long-established mining operation located at Mt Carbine, approximately 120km North of Cairns in Far North Queensland. With a robust focus on safety, Reliability and continuous improvement. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their site team in a permanent residential Position.

Your new role

- Reporting to the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of fixed plant electrical assets across the operation. Working a lifestyle-friendly 7/7 day shift roster, your duties will include:
- Conducting electrical inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Executing planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance
- Troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing and servicing fixed plant equipment
- Reviewing drawings and specifications to determine work methods and maintenance requirements
- Identifying, reporting and rectifying electrical defects
- Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical legislation, regulations and site procedures

- What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you will have:

- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial, fixed plant, quarry or mining maintenance environments
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on conveyors, crushers, processing plants or similar fixed plant equipment highly regarded
- Ability to reside within 100km of Mt Carbine or willingness to relocate locally
- Commitment to safe work practices and maintenance excellence
