Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal D365 Finance Consultant to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. This permanent, full-time role is pivotal in driving the implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions for our clients. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance financial processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and delivering exceptional value to our clients. As a principal team member, the role also presents confidently to C-level executives, mentor consultants, promotes continuous improvement and contributes to solid customer relationships, delivery capability and long-term value.

Responsibilities:

- Solve customer pain points by leveraging the latest software and infrastructure architectural approaches to deliver value to customers.
- Build trusted customer relationships and act as the principal functional advisor throughout engagements.
- Deliver fit-for-purpose solutions across all aspects of the Dynamics 365 platform.
- Lead requirements gathering, discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to define business needs and solution outcomes.
- Lead project workstreams and take ownership of solution design, delivery quality, timelines and customer outcomes.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to customers on business process improvement and technology adoption.
- Lead end-to-end implementations, including process engineering, scoping, configuration, testing, data migration, go-live and support.
- Continue professional development in Dynamics 365 ERP and AI systems through self-learning, certification and training opportunities.
- Coach, mentor and provide technical and functional leadership to consultants and junior team members.
- Establish and expand strategic relationships across internal teams, Microsoft, partners and the broader delivery ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities for additional services,



continuous improvement initiatives and customer value creation.
- Contribute to delivery methodologies, best practices and organisational capability development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 10+ years of experience working in consulting, ERP implementation or technology delivery roles, with demonstrated capability at Principal level.
- Deep expertise in financial modules and practices, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and awareness of the wider ERP landscape, including cross-functional process and system dependencies.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Proven experience in project management and client engagement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance are highly desirable.
- Excellent Microsoft Modern Workspace Skills including Office and AI productivity tools.
- Experience managing or leading end-to-end Dynamics 365 implementations
- Experience with other D365 Platform Technologies such as CE, BI or the Power Platform.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or related technologies. Experience is working with ISV partners and products.
