Are you commercially minded, analytical and curious about what sits behind the numbers?

We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Sales team and play a key role in supporting better commercial decision-making across the region.

Reporting to the Sales Director ANZ/SEA, you’ll work closely with Sales Leadership and the wider sales team to understand performance, uncover opportunities, identify risks and turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.

This is more than a reporting role. We want someone who looks at the numbers and asks why.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Analyse sales performance across customers, products, territories, channels and markets

- Identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance gaps

- Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, and understand the drivers behind the results

- Lead the preparation of monthly sales reporting, providing meaningful commentary, insights and recommendations





- Prepare analysis and insights for management meetings and business reviews

- Support budgeting, forecasting and sales planning

- Develop dashboards and reporting tools that make performance easier to understand and act on

- Identify data quality issues and opportunities to improve reporting, processes and automation

- Undertake ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and support key commercial initiatives

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data but is equally comfortable explaining what the data means and what we should do about it.

You’ll have:

- Experience in a Commercial Analyst, Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar analytical role

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related discipline

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances and identify underlying drivers

- A strong commercial mindset and the ability to turn analysis into practical recommendations

- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy





- Solid communication skills and the confidence to present insights to stakeholders

Experience with Power BI or another data visualisation platform will be highly regarded, along with exposure to CRM/ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting and commercial performance analysis.
