Lambton Law Solicitors is seeking an experienced Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a friendly and supportive law firm and is looking for a role where they can manage their own matters while being part of a close-knit team.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing a range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters from start to finish, including acting for clients on the sale and purchase of property, preparing and reviewing contracts, managing conveyancing transactions from instruction through to settlement, liaising with clients, agents, solicitors, financial institutions and other relevant parties, preparing and reviewing legal documentation, conducting title and property searches, managing electronic settlements through PEXA, attending to post-settlement matters, and providing clients with clear, practical and timely advice throughout their matter. There may also be opportunities to work across other areas of property law depending on your experience and interests.

Key responsibilities

- Acting for clients on the sale and purchase of property

- Preparing and reviewing contracts

- Managing conveyancing transactions from instruction through to settlement





- Liaising with clients, agents, solicitors, financial institutions and other relevant parties

- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation

- Conducting title and property searches

- Managing electronic settlements through PEXA

- Attending to post-settlement matters

- Providing clients with explicit, practical and timely advice throughout their matter

About you

- Is a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor admitted in NSW

- Has experience managing conveyancing matters independently

- Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

- Is confident communicating with clients and other professionals

- Can manage competing deadlines and a busy workload

- Is proactive, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team

- Takes pride in providing friendly, professional and practical service to clients

- Has experience using PEXA and Smokeball
