About the role

Height Safety Engineers is looking for an experienced Level 2 & 3 IT Specialist to provide hands-on technical support and help manage our IT infrastructure, systems and cybersecurity environment.

This is a part-time role suited to someone who will play a key role in delivery high level technical support across a diverse technology environment. You will be escalation point for technical issues, providing solutions across hardware, software, networking, cloud technologies, and Microsoft 365 environments.

Key responsibilities

- Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant improvements

- Intune and endpoint management

- Exchange Online migrations

- Active Directory → Entra ID migrations

- SharePoint and file server migrations

- Azure and hybrid infrastructure

- Windows Server and Domain Controller upgrades

- Microsoft security and Defender solutions

- Network, firewall and infrastructure projects

- L3 technical escalations

- Technical design, implementation and documentation

Required Skills/Experience

- Strong experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems and common software applications

- On-prem and cloud infrastructure experience

- Solid experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows Server management

- Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online/Intune/Defender management

- High-level understanding of Networking Technologies (DHCP/DNS/LAN/VLAN/WLAN/WAN)

- Experience with Endpoint Protection and Backup/DR technologies

- Strong documentation skills

- Ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders

Nice to have’s

- Diploma, Degree, or other relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.

- Industry certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Intune, or similar technologies are highly regarded.
