Join Radio National as a Producer on Global Roaming, creating specialist audio content that grows audiences in line with ABC's Audio strategy.

- Research and produce specialist content for Global Roaming and other programs for Radio National
- Brief and direct Presenters on story content, angles and lines of questioning
- Coordinate pre-records and edits audio to tight deadlines
- Monitor developments of current events and issues through research and contacts
- Produce online content in line with the best practice advice from the Society & Culture digital team

About You

You're a creative, deadline-driven producer with a genuine passion for global affairs and storytelling that reflects the diversity of the Australian community.

You also possess:

- Sound editorial judgement and a track record producing engaging audio and online content that grows audiences
- Experience or knowledge of Riverside, the InStudio system, with solid broadcast and digital production skills
- High interest and experience in geopolitics and international/global affairs
- Well-developed contacts and the ability to source high-level talent and diverse voices
- A team-oriented communicator who thrives under pressure and brings the ABC Values to life every day
