Senior Contracts Specialist

Tier 1 Mining Client | Perth CBD | Up to $1,200 per Day + Super | Flexible Working

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Contracts Specialist to join a Tier 1 mining client supporting the delivery of a major capital project. This long-term contract role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regarded owner-side team on a complex project environment, with flexible working arrangements and a strong team culture.

The Role

Working within the project commercial team, you will take ownership of post-award contract management activities, partnering with project stakeholders and major contractors to deliver successful commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing post-award contract administration
- Assessing and managing high-value variations, claims, and change events
- Monitoring contractor performance and contractual compliance
- Providing commercial advice and contract interpretation
- Supporting negotiations and resolution of complex commercial matters
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You





- Extensive contracts management experience on major mining, construction, infrastructure, or resources projects
- Strong post-award contract administration capability
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple high-value claims and variations with major contractors
- The maturity and commercial judgement to operate effectively in a complex project environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Quantity Surveying (QS) background highly preferred
- Client-side or contractor-side experience considered
