About the Role

We’re looking for a caring and clinically confident School Nurse to provide professional, student-centred health care in a busy school setting. You’ll be responsible for supporting students’ immediate health needs, managing ongoing medical conditions, responding to illness and injury and promoting student wellbeing. This is a part-time, term-time only, ongoing position.

The School Nurse will:

- Assess, triage and manage students and staff presenting with illness, injury or medical concerns
- Provide appropriate first aid and health support during school activities, excursions, camps and sporting events
- Organise immunisation sessions for students and staff
- Conduct relevant staff career development
- Provide, order and maintain first aid kits
- Administer first aid to students, staff and visitors
- Attend Outdoor Education and Camp programs

- Appropriate nursing qualifications and current registration
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively
