The opportunity

Reporting to the Design and Covenant Manager, you will identify needs of a customer and be a trusted design expert in Mirvac's Design guidelines. You will manage and undertake design reviews for customers and builders, ensuring submissions are assessed consistently against the relevant Design Guidelines, estate requirements and project intent.

Please note that this is a 12-month maternity leave cover contract.

Key responsibilities include:

Design review and approvals

- Provide clear, practical feedback to customers, builders and internal teams so design issues are understood early and resubmissions are reduced where possible.
- Lead the resolution of complex design matters, appeals or disputes, ensuring decisions are fair, well documented, commercially aware and aligned with approved project standards.

Customer and builder support

- Manage and respond to customer and builder enquiries in a timely, professional and customer-focused manner, including complex or escalated queries where senior input is required.
- Prepare, compile and issue explicit correspondence to customers, builders and stakeholders, ensuring information is accurate, easy to understand and appropriate to the matter being addressed.
- Educate and support customers and builders to better understand the Design Guidelines, covenant requirements and approval process,



with a focus on improving clarity and reducing frustration.

Covenant compliance and post-approval matters

- Oversee covenant bond inspections, front landscaping reviews and refund processes, ensuring assessments are completed consistently, accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Manage complex fencing, landscaping, construction and covenant compliance matters, applying sound judgement and escalating where planning, legal or development input is required.
- Work with customers, builders and internal teams to resolve non-compliant items in a clear, fair and practical way, while protecting the project vision and streetscape outcome.

Stakeholder engagement and collaboration

- Act as a key point of contact for Design and Covenant matters across assigned projects, providing clear guidance to internal teams, customers, builders and consultants as required.
- Attend and contribute to project meetings with Sales and Marketing, Development, Construction, Customer Relationship, consultants and external stakeholders, both in the office and on site as required.
- Partner with project teams to review and improve Design Guidelines, customer communications and process documents so they remain clear, practical and aligned with the project vision.

Process improvement, reporting and systems

- Maintain accurate customer files, approval records, correspondence and database updates to support reliable reporting and a clear audit trail for design and covenant decisions.




- Track design approval turnaround times, recurring design issues, resubmission trends and process gaps, and recommend improvements to support faster and more consistent outcomes.
- Champion improvements to the customer experience across the Design and Covenant function by identifying practical ways to simplify communication, reduce rework and improve team efficiency

Leadership and team support

- Coach and mentor junior team members in design assessment, covenant compliance, customer communication and escalation handling, building confidence and improving the quality of team outputs.
- Lead team discussions on recurring issues, guideline interpretation and process improvements, encouraging open communication and shared learning across the Design and Covenant function.
- Provide input into team procedures, templates, checklists and system improvements so work is completed consistently and information is easy to find, track and report on.

About you

You are a professional with at least 6+ years' experience in a similar role. You will have direct customer and drafting experience on Land projects.

You'll also have:
