About the Role

Starick is seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to the CEO to join our team.

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity (30 hours per week), with flexibility to work across either four or five days. There is also potential for the role to increase to full time in line with organisational growth and business needs.

The Executive Assistant provides high-level executive, administrative and governance support to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board. The role is critical to the effective functioning of the executive office and organisational governance, requiring a high degree of autonomy, professionalism, discretion and judgement.

The position supports executive decision-making through complex diary and inbox management, coordination of executive priorities, preparation of executive correspondence and reports, and comprehensive board secretariat services.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, including diary, inbox and stakeholder management.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing materials.
- Act as a key liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver secretariat support to the Board and Committees, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, minute-taking and governance administration.
- Maintain governance records, registers, resolutions and compliance documentation.
- Support organisational reporting, compliance and governance requirements.




- Contribute to the effective operation of the administration function, including providing backup administrative support when required.

About You

You are a highly organised, proactive and professional administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills, you can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

You enjoy building positive working relationships and are comfortable working closely with senior leaders, Board members and a range of internal and external stakeholders. You take initiative, exercise sound judgement and have a proven ability to coordinate complex administrative and governance activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Significant experience in an Executive Assistant position.
- Experience supporting Boards, Committees or governance processes, including meeting coordination and minute-taking.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills, including preparing reports, correspondence and presentations.
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems.
- A professional, collaborative approach and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

This role would suit an experienced Executive Assistant,



Board Secretary or senior administrator looking to make a meaningful contribution within a purpose-driven organisation.

Essential

- Experience providing high-level executive or senior administrative support.
- Substantial experience in diary management, inbox management and executive coordination.
- Proven experience in Board or Committee secretarial support, including minute-taking.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of formal correspondence and governance documentation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities autonomously.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital document management systems.

Desirable

- Experience working within the community services, not-for-profit or human services sector.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and board compliance requirements.
- (AICD) company secretary accreditation

Requirements

- National Police Clearance
- Right to Work in Australia
- WA Driver’s Licence
