Salary: From $86,178 + 12% Superannuation + applicable penalty rates

Purpose:

To implement Council’s regulatory functions and services and provide quality, customer focused regulatory and enforcement services and activities

About the role:





Effectively and efficiently implement Council's regulatory functions and services

Assess compliance with regulations and take appropriate enforcement action with relevant legislations

Issue Fines, directions, or other regulatory action

Negotiate, mediate, and effectively resolve complex and sensitive matters

Investigate alleged breaches of legislation and regulatory requirements, and

Prepare statements of evidence and represent Council in court, where required

Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed reports and up-to-date file notes, memorandums and correspondence
