About the Role

Captain Nemo's Pool Spa Marine is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our dynamic retail team on a full-time basis in Helensvale, QLD 4212. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our customer experience, providing expert product knowledge and outstanding service to clients seeking pool, spa, service This position is fundamental to driving sales, building customer relationships, and representing the Captain Nemo's brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. You will work in our physical retail location, engaging directly with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, assisting with product selection and answering queries about pool, spa, products

- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

- Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing retail environment, including stock replenishment and merchandising

- Assist with inventory management and stock control procedures

- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

- Identify customer needs and upsell or cross-sell relevant products and services where appropriate

- Support marketing and promotional activities as directed by management

- Comply with health, safety and security protocols within the retail workplace

What We're Looking For

- Previous retail or customer service experience in a pool and spa environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour





- Excellent numeracy skills and ability to handle cash and card transactions

- Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and apply it effectively to customer interactions

- Physical capability to lift and handle products and materials as required

- Reliability and commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality

- Willingness to work flexibly, including potential weekend and public holiday shifts

- A genuine interest in pool, spa, products and sales
