We are looking for a reliable and experienced Factory Laborer with forklift skills to join our steel fabrication workshop in Prestons. This is a long-term, ongoing position with training provided for the right person.

About the Role

You will be working within a steel factory setting, completing a mix of forklift operating, machine operating and general laboring duties. This role suits someone hands-on, safety-focused and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities
Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading trucks and machines
Moving steel and materials around the factory
Assisting with machine operation (training provided)
General workshop duties
Using basic tools and equipment
Maintaining a clean and safe work setting

What We’re Looking For
Current LF Forklift Licence (required)
Previous experience operating a forklift
Ability to perform manual handling tasks
Strong understanding of safety procedures
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Correct workwear/PPE
Industry or workshop experience (advantageous)

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:30pm
