At Greenhill Aged Care, we provide a warm, safe, and supportive home for our elderly residents. Our team takes pride in delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence. We are looking for a caring and dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team.

As a Laundry Assistant, you will make a real difference in the daily lives of our residents by ensuring their personal clothing and facility linen are handled with care, washed to a high standard, and returned promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing resident clothing and facility linen.
Labelling and neatly packing personal clothing.
Distributing clean laundry and fresh linen back to individual resident rooms.
Maintaining a clean, protected, and hygienic laundry work area and operating commercial machinery.
Completing weekly and monthly audits.
Following all workplace health and safety (WHS)



and infection control guidelines.

About You

You are an organised and compassionate person who takes great pride in their work. You understand the importance of treating residents' personal items with respect and care.

Requirements & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a laundry or commercial cleaning environment (Aged Care or healthcare experience is a strong plus).
Good communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
Robust attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy workplace.
A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
Ability to work well in a team.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
