We are seeking a female Support Worker immediately to support a young female participant in Cessnock. This role is ideal for someone patient, reliable, and confident in working with children or young people with behavioural and support needs.
Shift Details
Immediate start tomorrow from 12 pm to 5 pm
Monday to Thursday during school day 3:30 PM –6:30 PM
Available shift in the coming school holiday from 28 Sep to 1 Oct from 10 am to 5 pm
More shifts may become available over time
Immediate start
Ratio of support 2:1 ( two staff on shift)
About the Role
You will be supporting a young participant with:
Personal care
Community access and drives in a company vechile
Behavioural and emotional regulation support
Meal preparation
Following daily structure and routines
Requirements
Female support worker only (participant preference)
Experience with behaviours of concern (highly regarded)
Ability to follow support plans and maintain consistency
Current WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR
Driver’s licence
ABN ( optional)
