Chef – Showground Eatery

Showground Eatery is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their food, works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a quick-paced, supportive team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
Following recipes, presentation and portion-control guidelines
Maintaining a clean, organised and protected kitchen
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Assisting with food preparation, stock rotation and ordering
Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
Contributing ideas and assisting with menu development

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen environment




Passionate about food and quality
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Able to work efficiently under pressure
A strong team player with a positive attitude
Comfortable working independently when required
Committed to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
Available to work weekends and public holidays when required

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Certificate I - IV (Required)
