Grocery Store Supervisor

Shift Hours:
Saturday 6:30am - 12:30pm
Sunday 6:30am - 12:30pm
Monday 2:00pm - 8:00pm
Tuesday 2:00pm - 8:00pm

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Grocery Store Supervisor to help lead daily operations and support our team in delivering excellent customer service. At IGA Kiara our dedicated and friendly team are committed to delivering quality products, great value and exceptional service every day.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support up to 4 staff members during shifts.
Maintain store cleanliness and monitor health and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulations.
Open/close the store as needed
Manage markdowns and wastage
Ensure inventory levels are restocked and maintained, stock is rotated, and displays are appealing.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
Receive daily deliveries inline with policies and procedures.
Be responsible for cash handling.

Key Requirements:




Regular and repetitive lifting of heavy items is a requirement of this position.
Must be available to work required shift hours as stated above.
Possess robust interpersonal skills and be able to provide a high level of customer service.
Previous experience in retail, grocery or a similar workplace is preferrable but not essential.
Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Have good time management skills and have the ability to multi-task.
Dependable, detail-oriented, organised and have the ability to work well under pressure.
Intermediate IT skills.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
The successful applicant must hold a full drivers licence and have access to a vehicle.
