Pepi’s is looking for an experienced Senior Italian Chef to join our Sydney team on an immediate 4-month contract.

Working alongside our Head Chef and senior kitchen team, you will help deliver premium Italian food across weddings, corporate events, private events, and at our Marrickville HQ.

Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and executing high-quality Italian dishes
Leading sections during prep and event service
Supporting junior chefs and casual kitchen staff
Maintaining consistency, presentation and portion control
Working across both kitchen production and live event service
Managing prep lists, stock and kitchen organisation
Maintaining excellent food safety and cleanliness standards
Performing confidently in high-volume event environments

This is a hands-on senior role for someone who can step into an established kitchen and make an immediate contribution.

The ideal candidate will have:
Robust experience as a Senior Chef, Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie
A genuine background in Italian cuisine
Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary Italian cooking
Excellent pasta, sauce, meat and general kitchen preparation skills
Experience in premium restaurants,



catering or high-volume events
Confidence leading a section and supporting other chefs
Strong organisation and attention to detail
A calm, qualified approach during busy services
High standards of presentation, cleanliness and food safety
Full working rights in Australia
Availability to start immediately

Pay: $110,000.00 per year
